Family-Owned. Customer-Focused.

For generations, The Garden Basket has been a trusted part of the Markham community. As a family-owned business, we believe that shopping for groceries should be more than simply checking items off your list.

We’re passionate about food and take pride in the products we sell. Our team is here to help you discover new favourites, find the perfect ingredients, and enjoy a warm, welcoming shopping experience.

We shop here, we eat what we sell, and we stand behind the quality of the products we offer.

A Better Shopping Experience

We’re proud to be a family-friendly store, offering thoughtful touches that make shopping easier for everyone, including child-sized shopping carts for our little “shoppers in training.”

We also provide free grocery bags and convenient sanitary wipes and sprays throughout the store.

Quality. Selection. Value. Service.

That’s the Garden Basket Difference.
